Our capacitive liquid sensor offers precise and reliable level measurement of liquids directly on the medium. Developed as a replacement for mechanical sensors, it enables accurate monitoring of a wide range of liquids in various applications.

Sensor type:

The sensor is specially designed for the wetted level measurement of liquids. It has a specially shaped tip that ensures optimised dripping of the liquids. The sensor is already preset for use with distilled water. The switching threshold can be easily adapted to other liquids using a potentiometer.

Output configuration:

The sensor offers flexible output options, including NPN or PNP configuration as well as normally open or normally closed (NO/NC).

Contacting:

It is supplied with a 2 metre cable that has open cable ends with ferrules. This ensures easy installation.

Technical data:

The technical specifications of the sensor meet the highest standards:

  • Switching distance: Touch
  • Hysteresis: 0.1 to 1.5 mm
  • Operating voltage: 12 to 32V direct current
  • Residual ripple: ≤ 10%
  • Current consumption: ≤ 10mA
  • Load current: maximum 50mA
  • Voltage drop: maximum 1.5V
  • Switching frequency: 100Hz
  • Reverse polarity protection
  • Thermal overload protection
  • Ambient temperature: 0 to 60°C
  • Storage temperature: -40 to 85°C
  • Display: Yellow LED
  • Protection class: IP65

Long-term availability:

The capacitive liquid sensor is available for at least 5 years. Thanks to our in-house development and production in Wuppertal, we can also supply compatible successor models beyond this period.
